     उसका विचार था कि हमने ज़मींदार के खेत जोते हैं, तो वह अपना लगान ही तो लेगा।

     uskā vicār thā ki hamne zamīndār ke khet jote ha͠i, to vah apnā lagān hī to legā.

     She thought that if we had to plow the zamindar's land, then he surely had to take his lagaan.
